Privacy Notice (KVKK)

Draft note (delete before publishing): This is a starting template of the Futurecode KVKK Çerez Onayı plugin, not legal advice. It covers processing through cookies under art. 10 of Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for the Duty to Inform. This notice is given under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and explains how personal data is processed through cookies and similar technologies when you visit eklentiler.futurecode.com.tr.

2. Personal data processed

• cookie ids and other online identifiers of your device,
• pages visited, clicks, visit length and referring website (only in the categories you allow),
• browser, operating system, screen and language; your IP address at third-party services,
• your cookie choice record: a random record id, date, consent version, chosen categories and a shortened browser name.

3. Purposes

• running the website securely, including login and the shopping cart (essential cookies),
• remembering your cookie choice and being able to prove consent,
• if you allow it: improving the website with usage statistics (analytics), measuring ads and showing relevant ads (marketing), remembering extra preferences and enabling extra features (functional).

4. Collection method and legal bases

Data is collected electronically and automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you visit the website. Essential cookies and the choice record rely on KVKK art. 5(2)(c) (directly related to entering into or performing a contract) and (f) (necessary for our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights), and for the choice record also (ç) (compliance with a legal obligation). Analytics, marketing and functional cookies rely only on your explicit consent under KVKK art. 5(1), which is asked separately from this notice in the cookie banner and preferences.

5. Transfers

Data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above, to our hosting and IT providers and to the cookie providers of the categories you allow (for example analytics and advertising providers). Some providers may process data abroad; such transfers follow KVKK art. 9 and the Regulation on the Transfer of Personal Data Abroad and rely on an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contracts) or one of the occasional cases listed in the Law. 6. Retention

Cookies stay on your device for the periods in the table of our Cookie Policy. Your choice record is kept for 365 days to prove consent and is then deleted automatically.

7. Your rights under KVKK art. 11

• learn whether your data is processed and ask for information about it,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred,
• ask for correction of incomplete or wrong data, for erasure or destruction under art. 7, and for these steps to be notified to the third parties that received the data,
• object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis,
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. Applications

Send requests about your rights in writing to İvedik OSB Mah. 2224 Cad. No:1/108, Yenimahalle, Ankara, to our KEP address ([Registered e-mail (KEP), if any]) or from your registered e-mail address to info@futurecode.com.tr, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. We answer within thirty days free of charge; if the request causes an additional cost, the fee set by the KVKK Board may be charged.
